Thanks for the awesome plan! I’ve been working hard for my Ironman 70.3 and can’t wait to crush it. I definitely feel like the program is benefitting me.
I purchased this Intermediate plan for my first FULL DISTANCE. I had previously done a HALF DISTANCE; for the HALF DISTANCE I made my own plan and struggled with overtraining. I felt this plan was just what I needed it to be, it provided a good structure, will a repeatable pattern, a steady build complemented by rest weeks. By the time my race came, I made a prediction table; due to my extensive training, my prediction was very accurate for each discipline. I recommend getting a training plan if its not your 1st.
Awesome plan with structured workouts I was able to follow on Zwift. Finished 25 minutes faster than my previous Olympic event and feeling even better. I already purchased the HALF DISTANCE plan form Coach Steve. I will definitely recommend Coach Steve training plans for all distances and athletes level.
I was lucky enough to be selected to trial the PB Hit squad with Coach Steve. Initially, I was blown away by the quality/energy of the Zoom calls and have learned a lot in a short time! Based on the direction of CS – I have also switched plans to a much better fit for me and have my HR zones dialed in! Already put in the request for Coach to sign me up post-trial – I need this to get through my first FULL DISTANCE!
I used a Training Plan from Coach Steve to finish my first 140.6 FULL DISTANCE in Zurich Switzerland this year and it worked out perfectly. Despite some heavy GI issues during the swim and halfway through the bike split I was able to finish, also thanks to the prep I did following his plan. Easy written, structured, clever, and with less time effort but better results… would always come back. Thank you so much Steve!
Thank you for the training plan and your helpful tips and advice throughout, it all paid off and this was my first ever attempt at a full-distance tri in FULL DISTANCE Couer d’Alene in Idaho.
I’ve bought/used yr plan for a HALF DISTANCE distance last year and really liked it!
Now would love one for this shorter distance
I’m so glad I found your plan to help me accomplish my goal of completing my first triathlon this year. With no prior triathlon experience, I signed up for the Timberman HALF DISTANCE which was held on 9/18/22. I signed up for this race in late 2021. In January, I purchased this plan – INTERMEDIATE HALF DISTANCE 32 week plan includes email access to Coach, reusable, HR based and got started in February. I completed my HALF DISTANCE in 6 hours, 11 minutes and am very pleased with this
The plan Steven created for me provided the structure and motivation that was missing when I trained on my own. This made all the difference to my training weeks and was instrumental in helping me reach my race day goal!
Just back from Youghal. What a day and what an experience for my first ever triathlon! Lots of emotions right now that are hard to describe. . Overall I finished in 5hrs 39mins and I’m delighted with that giving family life, job, yada yada, you know…
I just wanted to say your plans were invaluable and so beneficial to making me hit my goal (and smash it). Furthermore, the free content you provide on YouTube was priceless.
Thanks again, coach. Here’s to ‘Sub 5’ next
I have been using Coach Steve’s maintenance and race prep plans for 9 months. The plans have been great: easy to follow, clear progression and enjoyable. The icing on the cake has been the quick and thoughtful input I have received along the way – invaluable! I have gone from being a middle-of-the pack finisher to qualifying for the HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE World Championship in St George in my last race. 50+ and getting better. I can highly recommend Coach Steve and his plans.
I started in September with a training program of 14 weeks with 5 sessions per week. I followed everything as faithfully as possible and learned a lot from it. I already knew that I enjoyed variety, but there were some new training forms in there for me. I also found out that training at a very low heart rate really works.
I crossed the finish line in 2:07:26. Definitely a successful weekend.
