Had to start from scratch in my triathlon career andCS was recommended to me by a friend. He has been awesome from start to finish – "No such thing as a stupid question – unless you ask it too late" to quote the man himself … he is patient, detail-focused and seems to give a shit! I already have completed my first sprint and standard distances and am thinking long next year… all possible due to CS – thank you so much (p.s. I also beat the friend who recommended CS to me – first time ever)
I hired Steven to bring more structure and direction to my training, as I had been racing for a few year but not achieving the results I wanted. After a meeting with Steven to discuss my goals for the year, he created a clear plan focusing on the races I wanted to do. I got a detailed plan allowing me to see what was ahead in the next few weeks taking into account personal and work commitments. Steven even managed to update my plan on the fly to accommodate my unpredictable working environment. Steven zoned in on and focused on my run weaknesses and without letting my biking or swimming slide, Steven pushed me to achieve multiple PB’s. I enjoyed the constant monitoring my workouts and commenting with support or a kick start when needed. Steven is a pleasure to work with and makes the whole training planning seem so easy.
After self-coaching for a few years, I decided to put some purpose and organization into my FULL DISTANCE training, signed up with a plan from Steve, and am very impressed with the layout and attention to detail in the plan. Steve also responds to questions quickly and addresses the issues immediately. I also have a shift pattern work schedule which he helped me figure out.

Great program – easy to follow with links for drill demonstrations. Of course the programming isn’t easy….but if you are training for a long distance it probably shouldn’t be 😉

I wanted to say thanks!, simply Thanks! and thank you a lot. I followed mostly the 20 weeks plan for Training for my HALF DISTANCE and beat 3 out of my 4 goals.
1. finish under 6 hours – done
2. finish my 13.1 under 2h30 mins – done
3. be in aero for the most part of the bike – done
4. swim under 30 mins – not done but very very close!
I liked everything that you put in the program and although sometimes I was tired, life got in the way, or had other commitments, it was by all means v
A huge thanks to Coach Steve for his 40 week IM program. The pace of progression was ideal. It really helped to minimise injury and took me to the best shape of my life. Steve's help and enthusiasm when I had questions made me feel like I was always supported. The result was that I felt like I was 'racing' rather than simply dragging myself to the finish. I'm really happy with my interaction and plans as set out by Coach Moody. I have a unique situation with my limiting schedule, and he was more than accommodating in working out a plan that fit that schedule, but also providing quality results. It also helps that his plans and coaching fit me from a budget standpoint as well. I have completed 2 half distances and on full IM & would highly recommend this plan. It's logical, easy to follow, and really gets you to enjoy the process of getting to the start line with the confidence that you are in the great shape to complete the event. All individual advice from Coach Steve was excellent, pragmatic, and delivered with reference to my individual targets & ability. And of course with the right balance of fun! I exceeded my goals on all the legs using this plan!
