A huge thanks to Coach Steve for his 40 week IM program. The pace of progression was ideal. It really helped to minimise injury and took me to the best shape of my life. Steve's help and enthusiasm when I had questions made me feel like I was always supported. The result was that I felt like I was 'racing' rather than simply dragging myself to the finish. Many thanks Coach Steve. I'll be back for the next plan!
Worked with Coach Steve for my first IM in Cork 2019, he had me in great shape and with all his prep and training the race went better than I ever expected with a top 20 female finish. He was also a welcome asset in the 2020 season in the face of such race uncertainty, we focused on my cycling and really saw the benefits. Thanks Steve!
I recently bought a HALF DISTANCE plan and had some questions in relation to testing etc. The feedback I got was so swift and any query I’ve had relation to the training set were answered so quickly. It’s my first time training on my runs with HR and I’m loving it. A more structured approach is really working for me and having a coach to answer any questions is superb. an investment I should have done years go

I just completed my first sprint Aquabike in Skerries, Dublin at the weekend
Thanks to your plan and support, I feel great, I’ve got the fitness bug again, and regularly empty my bank account (for I definitely need…) in pursuit of what is now a firm love of Aquabike training. I can’t believe I’ve trained 6-8 times a week for 20 weeks without injury: I’ve tried nearly everything and always get injured.

As someone who needs structure to my training I found working with Steve invaluable. Constant feedback helped keep me focused and when I was unfortunate to pick up an injury we worked together to ensure training was back on track.
Yesterday I did the 1/2 IM Liuzhou and came second in my age group (65-69) in a great time(for me) of 5.39. I missed a Kona spot by 7 minutes but got the spot of 1/2 Nice world championships in September. I am thrilled!!!
Anyway, you deserve a lot of the credit for a training plan that got me to Nice and Kona isn’t dead yet so THANK YOU.
So Coach, the season is now done for me! I completed Outlaw X HALF DISTANCE on Sunday in a PB time of 5:13. My previous like for like was 5:36 in June 2019. So 2 years older and 23 minutes faster! Happy with that.

I have purchased and been working through your FULL DISTANCE HALF DISTANCE beginner training programme. It has been brilliant so far, I have been really enjoying it.
Coach Steve’s HALF DISTANCE training plan not only got me to the finish line on my first HALF DISTANCE FULL DISTANCE event, but managed to prepare me well enough to beat my expected 6 hours by 22 minutes!
Will most definately stick to SMart Endurance for my next event.
