I had been trying to beat my 5km Personal Best for a couple of years when I was recommended to contact Coach Steve about a training plan. I signed up for a 12 week plan and 4 weeks in I’ve already broken my PB. I’m excited now to see just how far I can go over the next 8 weeks. I would highly recommended Coach Steve if your serious about smashing your goals.
Steve organised a fantastic weekend, steve along with Mark covered the swim, bike and run courses, advice on transitions, nutrition, fuelling on the go. Plus advice on training on lead up to the event. Couldn't ask for more for a triathlete to newbie Ironman competitor. Have the confidence compete on race day, bring it on!
Awesome plan with structured workouts I was able to follow on Zwift. Finished 25 minutes faster than my previous Olympic event and feeling even better. I already purchased the 70.3 plan form Coach Steve. I will definitely recommend Coach Steve training plans for all distances and athletes level.
I first contacted Steve in 2019 for some coaching and remember phoning him for an initial chat to scope out my options. He insisted that he should come around in person, for a kick start meeting. I was immediately impressed with his enthusiasm and passion for what he does. Since then, I've managed to complete my first full ironman last year and am currently following one of Steve's intermediate IM programs to prepare for Cork IM. I would have no problem recommending him anyone.
Thanks Steve
What a fantastic experience!!!!
I’m a normal athlete , 42 yr old , married man and two small kids … basically new into triathlon. But It was my dream to complete an IM70.3 , after reading many reviews, decided to purchase a plan with Coach Steven Moody , and what a fantastic experience it has been, the flexible plan and the continuous support made my dream come true … The plan was balanced and accommodating to my schedule with work/family… and I was able to complete my first 70.3 Ironman
I am liking the strength training program for triathletes. I purchased it last week and it’s been a lot of fun
After completing a number of half Ironman’s I reached a plateau in training and was finding it difficult to move forward.
I enrolled in a training program with Coach Steve and after setting my goals he starting providing feedback on a weekly basis on my sessions.
In between I obtained pbs in sprint and Olympic distance.
After postponement of events he changed plan to accommodate my desires.
The result a 5.28 in Ironman 70.3 Turkey at 53 years without any major injuries along the way.
I’m really enjoying this training plan. It’s my first time using training peaks and the accountability is incredible as well as the benefits of not having to think about a training routine for the week. Plus all the data!!!
With this time I became 4th in my AG (36 woman) AND I won a slot for the IM70.3 WC in St. George End of October! What a great success
Thanks again for your guidance and your training plan.
I recently bought a program from Steve through training peaks to start my training with the goal of finishing my first ironman this coming October. I have been super impressed with the support and sound, clear advice Steve passes on. Wouldn’t have any problem recommending his services, its superb! Great work Steve!
I completed the ironman last Sunday, August 13. My time was 14:18.16.
Thank you for helping me accomplish this goal of mine. Also, through training for this, I learned how much I love cycling and I hope to participate in some cycling races in the near future.
P.S. I really enjoy your youtube videos
I have seen many different types of leaders in my day – be that soldiers on the front line when I was serving with the United Nations Peacekeeping forces or business owners pulling their people through our recent economic turmoil – some bluff there way and some even falter but then there are those like Steve who just have it, who walk the talk and lead by example. His hard work and dedication forces you to raise your standards and when you are too tired to see this, he inspires you directly with daily and positive encouragement to stay the course and keep on keeping on. He reminds you of that ever so important WHY!! The WHY that gets you out of the bed at 5am to bike in the rain for endless hours. See, he to has that WHY and thats what drives his dedication, to better his craft, to learn more so he can do more and most importantly, give more.
When I first met Steve – yes, I could technically swim and yes, I owned a bike but I had NO business asking someone to get me injury free to the start and finish line of Ironman Barcelona – and in just four months!!
