I purchased the Beginner Ironman 22 week (50yrs+) plan that included email access to Coach. So far I am very pleased with this heart rate based plan. I was also pleased to see a training plan designed for my particular age group. This plan helps greatly to organize my weekly workouts. And if you have a Garmin Forerunner 935 watch, this plan can be synced to Garmin app which makes it even simpler to keep track! I started with SM by buying a 70.3 plan in Feb/22. I live in a rural area so few in person coaching options in my area. The plan worked so well for me that I joined the PBhitsquad which is a great way to feel connected with athletes from around the world. Coach Steve and Mark also provide insightful and helpful sessions covering all things Tri. I have since engaged Coach Steve for 1-2-1 coaching he keeps me focused, and is always encouraging. He has helped me finish two 70.3 this year. Thx

I’m only 5 weeks in to my 32 week beginner Ironman training plan and
have already seen huge improvements in my fitness…especially my
running! At the start, 4 km seemed like a hurdle but now I’m easily
running 7-12 km 3+ times a week. It took me months to reach those kind
of distances when I was training for a half several years back.
On top of the great plans, Coach Steve has been incredibly accessible
and has helped to move around my workouts to work with my crazy
schedule and my fitness level…it’s been super helpful knowing that
there’s someone there to help and build a bit flexibility into the
program, rather than just skipping workouts all together.
I’m really just getting started and already have a ton of confidence
in my ability to make it across the finish line. I would highly
recommend SMart Endurance Solutions and Coach Steve
Awesome plan, really seeing the gains as I go into the build phase of the plan, Steve responds quickly to emails while also providing interesting information along the way, will buy from Steve again 5 stars from me.
Vancouver triathlon (olympic) was today for me with a PB, despite being with minimal sleep and training in the past 40 days (baby was born)! I haven't received the results yet but I am happy with the experience and my performance! Felt good passing some people with Team Canada jerseys on that bike! I love Steve’s triathlon training plan. It is well structured plan, offering instruction and tips in the swim, bike and run. However, I found that the best part is the support during the plan that I received by Steve. Always ready to answer any questions…

During this time I found you very knowledgeable and helpful on providing advice and structure on the training plan you set for me. The detail was very helpful in understanding what was required both from each of the training session as well as the delivery of the race day performance. Your knowledge experience and understanding of the requirements showcased your knowledge of the sport and Ironman distance racing.
This was the perfect plan for me – kept me motivated and focused during the off season (polite way of not saying COVID!) – actually saw some decent gains in my FTP and run pace which was a nice bonus … and thanks to Steve for helping me pick the best plan for my actual race- roll on Sept!

I've been doing Olympic and Sprint tri's for a few years and decided to make the step up to 70.3 this year. Coach Steve's training plan is clear, easy to follow and most important, accessible. I was overwhelmed with the idea of building my own plan and found some plans on the interwebs to be very confusing. I love that Coach Steve's plan workouts that repeat week after week while slowly increasing in volume and pace; it makes it very accessible and feels manageable. I'm more fit than ever!
