Hi Steve, just wanted to let you know been following your training plan and really pleased with progress entering final stages
Many thanks
Jason
Good evening! I am coming to the end of my Olympic distance tri plan of yours I found on training peaks and wanted to share that I have really enjoyed the training process! Your workouts were easy to follow and I feel they have led me to being very prepared for my event (2.5 weeks out). Having followed a variety of plans in the past, I found yours to be particularly helpful and well-crafted!
I used your 40 week Beginner Ironman Program as part of my training for Ironman California because it fitted my personal time and commitment goals..
I met every one of my goals. My goals were to finish, to enjoy the experience, and to come out of it injury free. I finished in 15 hours and 3 minutes…exactly where I wanted to be.
Ironman was a bucket list item for me, and you helped me check that box! If I need another program for any of my other goals, I will be coming back to you!
Thank you again,
Troy Craig
Recently used your intermediate 16 week Olympic plan and managed not only managed to PB my local race in Connecticut but also got an AG podium. Felt I really came on leaps and bounds in my bike so thank you very much Coach Steve!
I recently bought a half ironman plan and had some questions in relation to testing etc. The feedback I got was so swift and any query I’ve had relation to the training set were answered so quickly. It’s my first time training on my runs with HR and I’m loving it. A more structured approach is really working for me and having a coach to answer any questions is superb. an investment I should have done years go
Thank you sooo much for the 70.3 plan!!! It was perfect. I questioned the taper weeks so so little to do but day before race my garmin actually said peaking. I was recovered and fresh. I PR’d my 70.3 on same course I did last year first week of December. Attached is photos from garmin for PR proof:). Thanks again. Love your plans.
I was looking for a long-term Ironman training plan. Only coach Steve offers such a program (48 weeks, shorter ones are also available). Before purchasing the plan I asked him which plan would be better for me (There are advanced, intermediate, and beginner plans). Steve took the time to understand my fitness level and needs, before recommending a plan (intermediate). He was also very responsive and answered all my questions rapidly and in detail: He not only provides you an answer but also explains why he gave that answer, which is very useful. The plan itself is well thought and the workouts are clearly explained which is important to perform them efficiently.
I highly recommend coach Steve. Knowing that you can count on an expert is highly motivating.
The (IRONMAN BOLTON) course is brutal and the wind made it even worse, but it’s done now. It’s been a perfect training plan it worked and worked amazing around my life with uni. Honestly it’s been an amazing plan
Currently, training using coach Steve’s beginner plan, I am founding his plan great and in line with my expectations and my time availability, also coach Steve was super helpful and responsive when answering queries. Highly recommended and if I am going to survive my first Ironman 70.3 will be down to his training plans.
Training with Coach Steve is fantastic. He gives clear information and cuts through the jargon (vital for a first timer like myself). He’s very responsive, supportive and genuinely interested in how to help achieve goals and make progress!
I love you youtube channel and I’m having a lot of fun working through your Olympic distance training plan!
Very grateful to Steve for the 70.3 beginner 30 week plan, tailored to my desire to improve my swimming while also getting ready for my first 70.3 race in August. It seems to be very comprehensive, i’ve gone for the heart rate option, and really appreciate Steve’s availability by email to answer queries, tweak plan etc. Fantastic value for money. I’ll be adding on his S&C sessions to it which are designed to integrate naturally. Set my start date for mid January so good motivation for the NY.
