    Thanks to Cairnscrocstriclub for another amazing duathlon event this morning. I was carrying a niggling injury which affected my run times but super stoked to have shaved 10 mins from my bike time last year.     I’m writing this review as a 3-day old IRONMAN. And I did it with the help of a “46 weeks Beginner Ironman plan”. Before starting the plan I had done sub 4h marathon but I had zero racing or even training experience in swimming and biking. When I was choosing my plan I wrote for several online couches with my questions and I liked Steve’s answers the most. I didn’t regret choosing his plan a single time. Steve answered all the questions that I had during the training, he also adjusted the plan to fit my race day(my race was almost a month earlier than I have planned). The training plan wasn’t easy but what else can you expect when training for Ironman? Be prepared that weekends will be tough but they will make YOU tough as well. I was confident before the race that I will finish it. Thank you, Steve, for making my dream come true!

    Previously coached by Steve in 2016 when undertaking Full IM training. 5 years, 3 kids and a few stone later I'm back working with Steve, training towards Ironman Cork 70.3 in August 2021. Steve has tailored my training excellently to allow for family and work commitments as well as dilligently managing my training load to reduce the risk of injury and allow consistent progress. As ever, Steve is personable, easy going and flexible, always putting the athlete first. Would highly recommend!

    Steve's plan helped me successfully complete my first 70.3! The plan was manageable and I felt like I was able to move my workouts around as my scheduled allowed. I will be using the plan again to train for my next 70.3. Steve also provided helpful emails throughout the training plan.

    Thanks Steven @ SMart Endurance Solutions, this is a great plan well structured and easy to follow. I followed this plan missing the odd session here and there, but with the aid of proper nutrition I got new sprint PB and to make it even better i got a 5km run PB aswell in the same race.
    I've been boosting to my friends about this. The Olympic will be my next adventure for a new PB.
